The New-Hispanic painter Miguel Cabrera painted an important series of the paintings known as “Castas” which are kept in the collection of the Museo de América in Madrid. In these families are depicted, father, mother and child of different castes and social strata, in everyday situations. Provenance: Private collection. Italy.
