18th century Colonial School. - Two imposing carved, polychromed and gilded pediments with Chinese-inspired decoration. In the centre, in a cartouche, is a medallion with a painted still life of flowers topped with a carved wooden crown. Profusely decorated with Chinese landscapes with boats, characters, animals, flowers etc. in a simulation of red and gold lacquer all over the surface. 254 x 65 cm. and 614 x 65 cm.
