1848 Military Cover with intact letter from Col.Thomas Ashburnham,secretary to the Govt.of Bombay who commanded a Brigade of Army of the Sutlej.The cover is sent to Poona and bears a oval hs ”BOMBAY/18/ FREE” in red ,( Giles Type 23 )with hand written annotation on it.
