A Trio of Antique Louisville Kentucky Metal Souvenir and Promotional Items - 7” - This lot features three metal items historically associated with Louisville, Kentucky. The first item is a cast metal commemorative paperweight or plaque produced by the Whitehead and Hoag Co. of Newark, New Jersey. The face depicts the building for The Courier-Journal and The Louisville Times set against a torn page background with simulated newspaper text, including the headline Wanted Feud Leader Shot From Ambush. The edge is stamped with the maker mark Whitehead-Hoag, and the reverse includes four hemispherical feet. The second item is a cast metal still bank modeled after the architecture of the Lincoln Bank and Trust Co. building. The base is inscribed with Lincoln Bank and Trust Co. on the front and Complete Banking and Trust Service on the side. It features a coin slot on the gridded roof section. The third item is a cast metal souvenir tray depicting Louisville City Hall in central relief.
