Vintage Belknap Bluegrass 6-Foot Steel Pocket Tape Measure 2” - This is a mid-20th century semi-circular pocket tape measure produced for the Belknap Hardware and Manufacturing Company under their Bluegrass brand name. The item features a metal case with a knurled or ribbed outer edge and a textured pebbled finish on the reverse side. The front face is decorated with a two-tone blue and yellow painted graphic. The internal component is a flexible thin steel rule. Visible markings on the front face include the text BELKNAP across the top, BLUE GRASS in a large serif font in the center, and LOUISVILLE partially visible near the central screw. The yellow section on the right is marked 1/4 inch, 6 FT., and THIN TAPE. The bottom edge of the face includes the model number T5-BG61-1/4. The reverse side of the case features a raised rectangular border containing the words MADE IN USA. The steel tape displays standard inch markings with the text P.R. APP'D. visible near the 4-inch mark. Tape Length: 6 feet Tape Width: 0.25 inches.
