A Collection of Five Pre-Prohibition Embossed Louisville Kentucky Beer Bottles 3”X12” - This collection comprises five embossed glass beer bottles from various breweries in Louisville, Kentucky, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The lot includes one amber glass export-style bottle embossed for the Senn and Ackermann Brewing Company, which features the base edge mark A.B.G.M. CO. indicating production by the Adolphus Busch Glass Manufacturing Company. Three bottles are attributed to the Frank Fehr Brewing Company Incorporated, including two amber glass examples and one tall aqua glass bottle. The final item is a dark amber export-style bottle embossed for the Schaefer-Meyer Brewing Company, featuring a central shield logo with the name Meyer and the text BRG. CO. LOUISVILLE KY. All five bottles were manufactured using blown-in-mold techniques and feature hand-finished crown top closures.
