Two Pieces of Brown Glazed Stoneware Including a Mundy's Patent Teapot and a Small Lug Handled Crock - This lot features two brown glazed ceramic vessels. The first item is a Rockingham-style teapot with a globular body, curved spout, and C-shaped handle, finished in a mottled brown glaze. The lid is joined to the body by a period metal hinge. The base of the teapot features an impressed circular mark containing the words PATENT MUNDY'S and the numeral 1. The second item is a small cylindrical utility crock with a dark brown slip glaze. It includes a thickened rim and two molded lug handles on opposite sides. The base is unglazed and displays concentric wire-cut marks. No additional maker marks or capacity indicators are present.
