American Country Style Faux-Bamboo Turned High Stool with Black-Painted Base 16”X16”X24” - A single American country-style high stool featuring a circular hardwood seat and a turned wooden base. The seat is constructed from two joined boards with a clear natural finish that highlights the wood grain. The base is comprised of four splayed legs with faux-bamboo turnings, reinforced by two tiers of matching turned stretchers. The entire base is finished in an old black paint. The stool exhibits traditional joinery with the legs and stretchers socketed together, and the seat joined to the legs using a mortise and tenon method. No maker marks, labels, or stamps were found during inspection.
