Antique Chinese-Style Wooden Grain Bucket with Handle 15”X17”X22” - This antique wooden grain bucket is of a form traditionally associated with Chinese agricultural use for the measurement and transport of rice. The object features a square, tapering body constructed from weathered wood panels joined by hand-wrought iron nails. It is equipped with a large, fixed handle assembly consisting of two vertical side uprights secured to the exterior walls, which support a thick, hand-carved, angled crossbar. The wood surfaces exhibit a heavily textured, darkened patina with significant visible grain and surface checking throughout. The underside shows remnants of historical red pigment or paint. Four modern white felt pads have been applied to the corners of the base for surface protection. No maker marks, labels, or inscriptions are visible on the piece.
