Large Hand Forged Three Light Wrought Iron Candelabra in the Early American Style 11”X11”X26” - This hand forged wrought iron candelabra features a three light configuration in the Early American primitive style. The central vertical shaft is square in section and terminates in a scrolled hook finial. Three candle arms extend from a central banded collar. Each arm terminates in a deep candle cup set within a wide flat circular drip pan. The piece is supported by a tripod base where the central shaft splits into three arched legs that are forge welded to a heavy flat circular iron ring. The surface exhibits visible hammer marks and hand tooling throughout. No maker marks, signatures, or factory stamps are visible on the item. The form is similar to contemporary designs such as the Maloy or Revere series but is presented here in a traditional wrought iron finish.
