Large Antique Hand-Hammered Copper Storage Vessel with Riveted Collar and Forged Handles 17”X17”X16” - A large, hand-hammered copper storage vessel or water jug, likely of Middle Eastern or Mediterranean origin. The piece features a bulbous body that tapers to a circular base. A wide, straight-walled collar is secured to the neck with a row of large, prominent rivets. Two forged iron loop handles are riveted to the upper shoulder. The entire exterior surface displays a hand-hammered, dimpled texture. The construction shows evidence of traditional craftsmanship, including brazed or dovetailed joins. No maker's marks, stamps, or signatures are visible on the exterior or the base.
