Antique Gray Graniteware Enamel Tea Kettle with Wooden Handle Grip 10”X11”X7” - A utilitarian tea kettle constructed from pressed sheet metal with a gray and white mottled vitreous enamel finish, a style traditionally known as graniteware or agateware. The vessel features a bulbous profile with a curved spout and a removable domed lid. The lid is topped with a black-painted turned wooden knob. It is fitted with an iron wire bail handle that includes a contoured wooden grip, also painted black. The interior of the kettle features a corresponding enamel coating. This style of kitchenware was widely produced in the United States during the early 20th century.
