Vintage Cast Iron Scottish Terrier Dog Doorstop 4”X10”X8” - A vintage cast iron doorstop modeled as a standing Scottish Terrier, or Scottie. The piece is produced using a two-part casting method, joined together by a single flat-head screw located on the right flank. The dog is depicted with breed-specific characteristics including pointed ears, a prominent muzzle, and a short upright tail, with the head slightly turned to its right. The surface is heavily textured to represent a wiry coat. The figurine is finished in an off-white or cream paint with black paint on the nose and reddish-brown highlights in the eyes. The interior of the casting is hollow. No foundry marks, model numbers, or manufacturer labels are visible on the exterior or the interior base.
