Vintage Cast Iron English Pointer Dog Doorstop 4”X15”X8” - A vintage cast iron doorstop depicting an English Pointer in a classic pointing stance. The figure is modeled with the front right paw raised, the head forward, and the tail extended. The item is manufactured using a two-piece hollow-cast construction, joined along a central vertical seam and secured by a single slotted screw on the right shoulder. The exterior is finished with an off-white paint base and black markings on the head, ears, back, and base of the tail. This specific design is widely attributed, but not verified, to the Hubley Manufacturing Company, dating to the early to mid-20th century.
