Cast Iron Boston Terrier Doorstop Attributed, but not Verified, to Hubley Manufacturing Co. 4”X10”X9.5” - This vintage cast iron figural doorstop is modeled in the form of a standing Boston Terrier with its head turned toward the left. Based on its distinctive form and assembly, the piece is attributed, but not verified, to the Hubley Manufacturing Company of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The doorstop is constructed from two hollow-cast iron sections joined by a single flat-head screw visible on the dog's right side. The figure displays characteristic breed features including cropped ears and a short, curled tail. The painted finish consists of black and cream tones, with a small trace of red paint remaining on the mouth. 4”X10”X9.5”
