Sessions 8-Day Architectural Style Wooden Mantel Clock with Lion Head Pulls 6”X10”X11” - This is an architectural-style mantel clock produced by the Sessions Clock Company. The wooden case features a polished finish with a molded pediment and a flared base. The front facade is accented by two fluted gilt metal columns with Corinthian capitals. Each side of the case is decorated with a gilt metal lion head ring pull. The ornate dial consists of a gilt metal filigree overlay on a light-colored background with black Arabic numerals in a Gothic-style font and black metal pierced hands. A regulation winding hole is located at the twelve o'clock position and is marked F and S for fast and slow. The dial is marked SESSIONS and MADE IN USA. The clock contains a mechanical, spring-driven 8-day time and strike movement with brass plates, two steel mainsprings, and a pendulum. It includes a copper-colored metal bell for striking. A double-ended metal winding key accompanies the clock.
