Antique Copper Wash Boiler with Cast Iron and Wood Handles 10”X24”X13” - This antique wash boiler is a utilitarian vessel characteristic of late 19th to early 20th-century North American households. The body is constructed from wrought sheet copper with an oval form and features a tinned interior. Structural reinforcement is provided by a rolled rim and a single horizontal swage line around the center of the body. The vessel is equipped with two side-mounted cast iron handle brackets secured with copper rivets, which hold turned wooden grips. The flat base is joined to the body with visible seams. While this form is frequently associated with manufacturers such as Rochester, no maker marks or stamps were found upon inspection.
