Eight-Horse Team Barrel Wagon with Two Drivers 5”X27”X6” - This cast iron horse-drawn barrel wagon hitch is designed in the style of traditional brewery delivery teams, closely resembling the Budweiser Clydesdale hitches. The set features a wagon, a team of horses, two drivers, and cargo. The wagon is constructed with a red-painted bed, blue-painted railings, and white-painted spoked wheels. The team consists of eight brown-painted horses arranged in four pairs, decorated with white-painted socks, white blazes on their foreheads, and black harnesses with gold-painted accents. Two removable cast iron driver figures in green suits with black hats and boots are included. The cargo consists of a load of approximately 21 black-painted barrels, several of which are cast in vertical clusters of four for stability. The use of Phillips-head screws on the horse figures indicates a mid-to-late 20th-century manufacture. No manufacturer marks or stamps are visible on any of the components.
