Vintage Horse Drawn Surrey Carriage Attributed, but not verified, to Kenton 4”X14”X6” - A vintage horse-drawn carriage toy attributed, but not verified, to the Kenton Hardware Company, specifically the surrey model. This toy is constructed of painted cast iron and features a manual rolling mechanism. The open-topped carriage is finished in black and is mounted on four bright yellow spoked wheels on iron axles. The carriage is pulled by a two-horse team of white horses with black painted manes, tails, and lower legs. A removable driver figure is seated in the carriage, depicted in a blue-gray coat, tan breeches, and a brown top hat. The horses are connected to the carriage by a central cast iron tongue, and the reins are fashioned from brass-tone metal bead chains.
