Cast Iron Native American Indian Chief Still Bank with Tomahawk 2”X5”X10” - A cast iron still bank depicting a Native American figure in a standing pose. The figure is modeled with the left hand raised in a salute and the right hand resting on the hip, securing a black tomahawk within a lavender-colored sash. The bank is constructed of two cast iron pieces joined by a single flat-head screw on the reverse. A horizontal coin slot is located on the upper back below the hairline. The figure features hand-painted details including a red complexion, long black hair, and a white headdress with green trim. He wears white leggings with lavender-toned fringe and brown moccasins. The style is consistent with American-made still banks from the early to mid-20th century. A small rectangular paper sticker with the printed digits 213 is present on the underside of the right foot. No manufacturer marks are visible.
