Nipper Dog and Gramophone Still Bank in the Style of RCA Victor 3”X9”X6” - This cast iron still bank is modeled after the iconic advertising image of Nipper the dog listening to a gramophone, which served as the trademark for the Victor Talking Machine Company and later RCA Victor. The piece features a seated dog beside a stylized gramophone horn, both of which are mounted to an integrated rectangular base. The item is constructed from a two-part vertical casting held together by a single Phillips-head screw located on the left flank of the dog. A vertical coin slot is positioned on the dog’s back between the shoulder blades. The bank is finished in polychrome paint with an off-white dog, black ears and collar, and a dark green gramophone and base. A small circular indentation is visible on the dog's left side, though it contains no legible characters or maker marks. No other patent information or manufacturer stamps are present on the exterior surfaces.
