Sessions Oak Gingerbread Mantel Clock with Alarm and Eagle Pendulum 5”X15”X24” - An antique gingerbread style mantel or kitchen clock manufactured by the Sessions Clock Company. The case is constructed from pressed oak and features ornate decorative carvings including a scalloped crest, scrollwork, and floral motifs characteristic of early 20th century American design. The gilt metal dial is marked SESSIONS and displays black Roman numeral hour markers with two primary winding apertures. At the center is a smaller rotating alarm disk marked with Arabic numerals. The front glass door features a gold tone lithographed tablet depicting a classical garden scene with urns, foliage, and a fence. The internal mechanical 8 day time and strike movement is equipped with a cathedral coil gong for hourly strikes and a separate brass bell for the alarm complication. The clock is accompanied by a brass finish pendulum bob embossed with a spread wing eagle design and a double ended winding key.
