Lanshire Primitive-Style Electric Wooden Mantel Clock 4”X15”X19” - A primitive-style electric mantel clock featuring a wooden case and a movement by Lanshire. The stained wooden case is constructed in a folk art manner with a scrolled, split-pediment top, two flanking turned wooden pillars, and a stepped rectangular base. The central clock face is set against a vibrant yellow velour-textured fabric backing within the wooden frame. The round dial features a brass-toned bezel, a white chapter ring with black Roman numerals, and ornate black hour and minute hands over a gold-toned filigree center. The dial is marked Self-G at the center and Lanshire Chicago at the bottom edge. The reverse features a fiberboard backing with a metal movement cover. The cover is stamped: Clock Movement by Lanshire for A.C. Only 105-125V. 60 CY. 2W. It also bears a CSA certification mark. A hanging wire is attached to the upper back.
