A Pair of Cast Iron Rearing Horse Figurines 3”X7”X9” - A pair of matching cast iron figurines depicting rearing or prancing horses in mirrored poses. Each horse is cast with one front leg elevated, with the weight supported by the three remaining legs and a small decorative scroll or ball element under the raised hoof. The figures feature stylized flowing manes and curled tails. The horses are constructed of heavy cast iron with a granular surface texture. Visible remnants of a dark black finish or paint remain in the recessed areas of the casting, particularly around the mane, tail, and musculature. No visible maker marks, factory stamps, or signatures were identified on either piece.
