Uncle Mose Black Americana Still Bank 2.5”X3”X8” - This still bank, often identified as the Uncle Mose or Uncle Moses model, is attributed to the A.C. Williams Company of Ravenna, Ohio, dating to the early 20th century. The figure is depicted in a standing pose, wearing a red tailcoat, white shirt with a yellow bowtie, yellow trousers, and black shoes. He holds a black hat resting on a tray with both hands. The object is constructed of two painted cast iron halves joined by a vertical seam and secured with a single slotted screw on the reverse. A horizontal coin slot is positioned on the upper back.
