Timeworks Inc. Victorian Revival Style Wood Pedestal Mantel Clock with Thermometer 6”X9”X24” - A pedestal mantel clock in the Victorian revival style, attributed to Timeworks Inc. The case is constructed of dark-stained turned wood and features two brass-toned wire scroll accents flanking the pedestal base. The circular clock face is protected by glass and features a white dial with black Roman numerals and fleur-de-lis decorative elements between the numerals. The center of the dial contains a gold-toned disk with embossed floral and scrollwork patterns. The time is indicated by ornate black hour, minute, and second hands. A glass thermometer tube is mounted vertically at the top of the clock housing. The reverse of the clock features a circular opening that provides access to the movement. The black plastic movement is embossed with Quartz No (0) Jewels and is marked Takane, Thailand.
