Seth Thomas Kern and Obergfell Brass Torsion Pendulum Anniversary Clock with Glass Dome 7”X12” - This is a mechanical torsion pendulum mantel clock, commonly known as an anniversary clock. The dial features the Seth Thomas name in script. The rear movement plate is stamped with Kern and Obergfell, Made in Germany, and no (0) jewels unadjusted. The clock is constructed with a brass-finished metal base and two supporting pillars. The arched top frame is decorated with three finials. A removable clear glass dome covers the entire assembly. The gilt dial is embellished with an etched ornate scrollwork pattern and features white applied cartouches with black Roman numeral hour markers. The hands are black in a spade style. Below the dial is a four-ball rotating torsion pendulum supported by a suspension wire.
