Vintage Rococo Revival Style Gold-Toned Mantel Clock with Pastoral Scene 4.5”X10”X14.5” - A vintage mantel clock in the Rococo Revival style, likely dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. The case is constructed from gold-toned molded plastic or composite material and features elaborate scrollwork, foliate motifs, and an ornate top finial. A decorative inset panel below the dial depicts a pastoral scene with figures in 18th-century style attire in a garden setting. The circular dial features black Roman numeral hour markers on individual cream-colored cartouches against a stamped gold-tone filigree center. It is fitted with black hour and minute hands and a red sweep second hand, protected by a clear convex cover. The dial is marked MADE IN JAPAN at the bottom below the six o'clock position. The reverse side features a circular back panel with a sunburst floral motif. The base is hollow.
