Victorian Style Marble-Top Lyre Base Console Table 18”X41”X28” - FOR PICK UP OR TRANSPORT ONLY: A Victorian Rococo Revival style console table featuring a shaped serpentine white marble top with gray veining and an ogee-molded edge. The wooden frame is constructed with a contoured apron that matches the profile of the marble top, accented by a central hand-carved floral motif depicting roses and leaves. The corners of the apron are fitted with turned pendant finials. The table is supported by a central lyre-shaped pedestal which contains six vertical metal rods representing strings. The pedestal rests upon a shaped plinth base that transitions into four out-curved, scrolled legs. The wood features a warm, dark finish consistent with walnut or mahogany. As is typical for a pier or console table designed for placement against a wall, the rear of the piece is unfinished.
