Two American Brilliant Period Style Cut Glass Table Items - This lot consists of two high-quality hand-cut crystal pieces following the American Brilliant Period tradition. The first item is a bulbous water carafe or decanter featuring a body decorated with deep miter cuts forming large multi-point stars separated by crossed linear motifs. The upper shoulder is finished with fan and palmette style cuts. The neck displays vertical flutes with notched zipper edges on the ridges and three horizontal ring cuts mid-way up. The second item is a round decorative bowl with a deeply scalloped sawtooth rim. The pattern features a central hobstar on the base surrounded by smaller hobstars, fine diamond-point cutting, and cross-hatched fields. Both pieces show high clarity and sharp, crisp edges on the hand-cut facets. No maker marks or signatures were identified on either piece.
