A Pair of Vintage Clayton & Lambert Brass Gasoline Blowtorches - This lot contains a pair of vintage gasoline-fueled blowtorches manufactured by the Clayton & Lambert Manufacturing Company. Both units feature heavy-gauge brass cylindrical fuel tanks with flared bases. The burner assemblies are constructed from cast iron and steel, featuring perforated combustion chambers and adjustable needle valves with composite control knobs. One unit is equipped with a sheet-metal heat shield. Both torches are fitted with horizontal turned wooden handles finished in original red paint. The brass tanks are embossed with a shield-shaped logo that reads: CLAYTON & LAMBERT / MFG.CO. / TRADE-MARK / MADE IN U.S.A.
