Two Early 20th-Century Statue of Liberty and Architectural House Still Banks - This lot features two antique cast iron still banks from the early 20th century. The first item is a figural bank depicting the Statue of Liberty standing upon a multi-tiered pedestal, a design attributed to the A.C. Williams Company of Ravenna, Ohio. The bank features a silver-tone finish on the figure with gold-tone accents on the base. Raised block letters on the front of the pedestal read LIBERTY, with the date 1776 on the left side and 1886 on the right. The underside is fitted with a circular, rotating metal locking trap that features a central key slot and partially distinguishable raised characters including the abbreviation PATD. Two coin slots are located on the sides of the pedestal. The second item is a small architectural bank modeled as a house with a double-dormer roof, finished in a gold-tone wash. It is a two-part casting secured by a single flat-head screw on the side and includes a single coin slot on the upper side wall.
