Below the writing surface is a single wide drawer with a curved face, featuring machine-cut dovetail joints and brass-toned metal bale pulls with a central matching escutcheon. The desk is mounted on a substantial trestle-style base with four thick, squared legs joined by side stretchers and terminating in block feet with decorative vertical grooving.
