Large Flow Blue Earthenware Tripod Jardiniere with Ram Head Handles - Large ceramic tripod jardiniere or planter decorated in a flow blue style. The vessel features a bulbous earthenware body supported by three legs that terminate in cloven hoof feet. The piece is distinguished by two high-relief ram head handles with long, curved horns integrated into the rim. The decoration consists of stylized floral and foliate transfer motifs that exhibit the characteristic blurring of cobalt blue into the cream-colored ground. A molded geometric bead-and-reel band encircles the shoulder below the rim. The ram heads and feet are finished with solid blue accents. The entire surface exhibits a dense network of fine, darkened crazing.
