Two Paulux Occupied Japan Bisque Porcelain Figural Centerpieces - Two Paulux bisque porcelain figural centerpieces produced in Occupied Japan between 1945 and 1952. The first item is an Art Nouveau style compote featuring the Three Graces, with three female figures in flowing pink, yellow, and green robes surrounding a central column and supporting a scalloped, flared basin decorated with pink floral motifs and organic scrollwork. The second item is a Rococo-revival style double-lobe dish featuring a central seated cherub or putto holding a horn before a lavender architectural pedestal, flanked by two pale blue scalloped basins with pink relief scrollwork. Both pieces are constructed of hand-painted bisque porcelain with matte finishes and gold-gilt highlights on headbands, belts, and rim details.
