Set of Four Goebel Hummel Hand-Painted Porcelain Figurines - This set of four hand-painted porcelain figurines was manufactured by Goebel, featuring designs based on the artwork of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel. The collection includes four classic subjects: Chimney Sweep, The Lost Sheep, Merry Wanderer, and Brother. The Chimney Sweep (Hum 12 2/0) depicts a boy in black attire with a ladder and sweep tools. The Lost Sheep (Hum 68/0) features a girl in a brown coat and green hat cradling a lamb. The Merry Wanderer (Hum 7/11) shows a boy in a green jacket and orange trousers with an umbrella and valise. Brother (Hum 95) portrays a boy in lederhosen and a brimmed hat with his hands in his pockets. Each figurine is marked on the underside with the Goebel TMK-5 ”Last Bee” trademark, consisting of a stylized V with a bumblebee above W. Germany or Western Germany in underglaze blue. The bases also feature incised model numbers. Original paper identifying labels remain attached to the front of the circular and rectangular bases. Brother height: 5.5 inches Base diameter: 2 inches.
