A Trio of Goebel M.I. Hummel Porcelain Figurines Including Two Kings and Searching Angel - This collection consists of three hand-painted porcelain figurines from the M.I. Hummel line by Goebel. The group includes two figures from a Nativity series and one reclining angel figurine. The first figure depicts a standing king, Balthazar, with dark skin, wearing a green turban with a red and white feather, a blue tunic, and a red cloak while holding a yellow gift box. The base features the Goebel trademark, Germany 2005, and model number Hum 2230/J. The second figure is a kneeling king, Melchior, with a yellow crown, a light blue cloak, and a brown tunic, holding a reddish-brown jar. This piece is marked Hum 2230/H, Goebel Germany 2005, and bears an incised M.I. Hummel signature on the back. The third piece is the Searching Angel reclining on a blue and white cloud, holding a black lantern that projects a yellow beam of light. The angel wears a yellow robe with red crescent patterns, and the wings are finished with orange-painted tips. The base is marked Goebel W. Germany and features the incised model number 153/0 and the year 1951. Angel base: 3.75 inches wide by 2.75 inches deep.
