Two Pieces of American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Including Centerpiece Bowl and Handled Nappy - This lot consists of two pieces of lead crystal cut glass from the American Brilliant Period, dating between 1876 and 1917. The first item is a deep circular centerpiece bowl featuring a scalloped sawtooth rim. The exterior is decorated with an intricate geometric pattern comprising large whirling star pinwheels, multiple hobstars of varying sizes, fan-cut borders, and cross-hatched diamond fields. The base features a large central starburst. The second item is a shallow circular nappy or candy dish with two integral loop handles and a scalloped rim. Its decoration includes a central hobstar surrounded by panels of fine diamond cutting, fans, and starbursts. Both pieces are constructed of heavy, high-clarity lead glass with deep, sharp geometric cuts designed for high light refraction. No manufacturer signatures, acid-etched marks, or labels are visible on either piece. Bowl: 8 inches diameter, 3.5 inches height Handled Nappy: Approximately 6 to 7 inches diameter (excluding handles).
