Two Norman Rockwell Museum The American Family Series Bisque Porcelain Figurines - A lot of two hand-painted bisque porcelain figurines from The American Family Series by Norman Rockwell, produced for The Norman Rockwell Museum in 1979. The collection includes the titles Sweet Sixteen and The First Prom. Sweet Sixteen depicts a young woman in a voluminous pink ballgown posing while her father sits in a green armchair with a newspaper and her mother stands behind him with a hairbrush. The First Prom features a young man in a tan overcoat and tuxedo pants presenting a corsage to a young woman in a yellow dress on a porch step. Both figurines feature the artist signature Norman Rockwell incised into the upper surface of the base. The underside of each base is marked in black text with the title, the copyright date 1979 The Norman Rockwell Museum Inc., and the series name. Each base also bears a circular black stamp for the Norman Rockwell Museum Official Seal, a red and gold foil Made in Japan sticker, and printed authentication from the museum. Each figurine is accompanied by its original cardboard box and a Certificate of Authenticity from the Norman Rockwell Museum.
