Two Cobalt Blue Glass Bowls Including a Hazel Atlas Shirley Temple Cereal Bowl - This lot features two cobalt blue glass items. The first is a vintage Hazel Atlas Shirley Temple cereal bowl, originally produced in the 1930s as a promotional premium for Wheaties cereal. The depression glass bowl is made of cobalt blue glass and features a white transfer-printed portrait of child star Shirley Temple in the center well, accompanied by a facsimile signature. The bowl is molded with a honeycomb or diamond quilted pattern on the exterior and has a scalloped rim. The second item is a small cased glass decorative bowl featuring cobalt blue glass over clear glass with wheel-cut decoration. The pattern includes a central multi-point starburst in the well and a repeating border of cross-hatched geometric panels and stylized fan motifs.
