A Pair of Towle Sterling Silver Forks in the Candlelight Pattern - A pair of solid .925 sterling silver forks manufactured by Towle Silversmiths in the Candlelight pattern, which was introduced in 1934. These forks, typically used for salad or dessert, feature handles decorated with a border of embossed floral clusters and scrolls framing a plain, raised central panel. The reverse of each handle bears the Towle maker mark of a stylized lion within a diamond holding a hammer, followed by the stamps TOWLE, STERLING, and the pattern name Candlelight in script.
