A Pair of Towle Sterling Silver Salad Forks in the Candlelight Pattern - A pair of solid .925 sterling silver salad forks in the Candlelight pattern by Towle Silversmiths. This pattern, introduced in 1934, features a recessed central panel on the handle flanked by detailed scrolling floral and foliate borders, terminating in a flared, squared-off end. The reverse of each handle is stamped with the Towle manufacturer mark consisting of a script T within a shield-shaped cartouche surmounted by a lion passant. To the right of the mark is the text TOWLE STERLING, and further down the handle neck is the pattern name Candlelight in a script font. Length: 6.5 inches each Weight: 74 grams total.
