A Pair of Towle Sterling Silver Teaspoons in the Candlelight Pattern - This pair of American sterling silver teaspoons is manufactured by Towle Silversmiths in the Candlelight pattern, which was first introduced in 1934. The design features a refined Art Deco influence with a raised central ridge on the handle flanked by delicate floral and foliate scrollwork along the borders. The bowls are oval and undecorated. The reverse of the handles bears the hallmarks for Towle, which include a stylized letter T surmounted by a lion, the name TOWLE, the purity mark STERLING, and the pattern name Candlelight.
