REICHERT ULTRACUT S MICROTOME - • The Reichert/Leica UltraCut S ultramicrotome is designed for extremely precise cutting and produces high-quality ultra-thin sections for electron microscopy or semi-thin sections for optical microscopy. • The Reichert FCS Ultracut S Cryo ultramicrotome is an advanced ultramicrotome that enables ultra-thin sections in the range of 5 to 95 nm and semi-thin sections from 0.01 to 2.5 μm. The microtome is electronically controlled and has many features that allow easy setup of the cutting operation and control of section thickness, including variable cutting speed, variable return speed, section window selection and motorized fine feed. • It has a continuous feed range of 0 to 2.5 microns and adjustable cutting speeds from 0.1 to 50 mm/sec. It has a 6 V, 10 W halogen lighting system.
