1725 Seutter Map of Portugal & Brazil, ”Portugal – Portugallia et Algarbiae Regna”, Inset Map, Decorative Cartouche - This highly attractive and scarce copper line engraving, titled Portugal – Portugallia et Algarbiae Regna, was produced by Matteus Seutter and published in Augsburg circa 1725. The map includes a large inset map of Brazil and is adorned with a decorative cartouche. Ideal for collectors of antique maps of Portugal, Brazil, and 18th-century European cartography. Condition: Foxing to margins, discoloration to centre fold, and damage to the centre fold in the middle and at the bottom of the margin. Size of sheet: 54 x 63 cm (21.3 x 24.8 inches), size of image: 49.5 x 56.5 cm (19.5 x 22.2 inches).
