Detailed Town Plan of Venice 1798 by Teodoro Viero - This detailed town plan of Venice, titled Nuova Pianta Iconografica dell'Inclita Città di Venezia, was published in Venice by Teodoro Viero in 1798. The map is based on Furlanetto's version of Ughi and features a grid layout with an extensive key to street names and buildings, providing a comprehensive overview of the city at the time. First published in 1792, this popular plan went through 15 editions before 1847, mostly with only the date being updated. The map is beautifully coloured, offering a precise and artistic depiction of Venice's layout at the turn of the 19th century. Great for collectors of Venice, Italy, Europe.
