1835 Burritt-Huntington Constellation Maps, Set of 2, Coloured Night Sky Charts - A beautifully coloured set of two maps by Burritt and Huntington, dating to 1835, depicting the constellations visible in the night sky over the course of the year. The first map illustrates the constellations of April, May, and June, while the second shows those of July, August, and September. Each map features stars and constellations in their respective quarters of the night sky. These charts are a stunning example of 19th-century celestial cartography. Condition: signs of wear and minor tears to the margins with some repairs. The size of each image is 35 x 33 cm (13.78 x 12.99 inches).
