The map highlights the Amazon River in its entirety, as well as northern Peru. A large, decorative title cartouche embellishes this fine example of 18th-century cartography. Published in Antonio Zatta's Atlante Novissimo, one of the last great decorative atlases of the period. Condition Report: Tape marks and signs of wear. Repairs to the lower centrefold.
