Decorative World Map ”Mappe-Mondes sur diverses projections” by Conrad Malte-Brun, 1812 - This decorative double hemisphere world map, published in Paris in 1812 by Conrad Malte-Brun, is from his Atlas Complet. Known for its accuracy and incorporation of contemporary geographical discoveries, this atlas was one of the most up to date of its era, featuring new information on Australia, America, and Africa. The map includes a central double hemisphere world map, along with smaller maps centred on Australia and four additional hemispheric projections. Great for collectors of world maps, Australia and 19th century antique maps. Condition: It retains vibrant colouring, though it has been trimmed at the margins and a small taer has been repaired in lower margin. Size of sheet 33cm (height) x 48.5cm (width), 13 x 19 inch.
