Antique Map ”of the kingdom of Spain & Portugal”, 1773, Published in 'New Geographical Dictionary' - This beautifully coloured copper engraved map of Spain and Portugal was published in 1773 in London for the New Geographical Dictionary. Engraved by J. Gibson, the map is titled ”A New & Accurate Map of the Kingdom of Spain and Portugal from the Sieur Robert's Atlas with improvements.” Featuring intricate details and vibrant colouring. In good condition with large borders, there is some wear along the bottom margin. A fine piece for collectors of antique maps, historical geography, or decorative cartography. Size of sheet 23.5 cm (height) x 33 cm (width), 9.25 x 12.9 inch.
